CLUSTER CHARGE CONFERENCE: Our 2026 Church Conference is scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 25 as a Cluster Conference at Christ UMC in Rochester at 400 5th Ave. SW, Rochester from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. It is requested that at least three people or more attend with the pastor. Please email or call the church if you would like to attend. Thank you to those who will be attending.

NEW STEWARDSHIP MINISTRY: Watch for upcoming news of a stewardship drive focusing on God, Giving, and Gratitude (3G). Starting November 1st,  we will begin the series on God’s generosity and our response for faithful giving to support God’s ministries at Byron UMC. Please pray for this ministry. COVENANT GROUP: The Thursday evening Covenant Group invites you to consider trying out discipleship in the Methodist way by joining them for a trial session. The group meets from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Speak with Kelly VanDeWalker for details.


SUNDAY SCHOOL: Sundays from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. We have classes for pre-K to 1st grade, 2nd to 3rd grade, 4th to 6th grade, and youth. All are welcome! No Sunday School today, October 18. If you have any questions or would be interested in helping withSunday school, please speak with Kelly VanD eWalker.


CONFIRMATION: Confirmation class, 8th grade through 12th grade, continues Sundays from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m.


BEARPACK PROGRAM: Byron UMC continues its partnership with Byron Schools by donating to the Bearpack Program. This program helps those families with children in need in our schools. All donations at coffee fellowship time go toward this fund. Please consider supporting this need in our community by giving generously to the cookie jar each week!


WOMENS SHELTER AND SUPPORT CENTER: You can support the Women’s Shelter and Support Center in its mission of assisting victims of domestic abuse by donating household and personal items for their use.
